Conductive Keratoplasty (CK)

The days of bifocals and reading glasses may soon be over. Dr. Bud Kurwa, of the Kurwa Eye Center in Arcadia is now performing a new outpatient procedure for people with age related reading problems.

The procedure is called Conductive Keratoplasty (CK), and it is performed during an office visit with topical anesthesia. There is minimal discomfort, recovery of vision is overnight , and patients can go back to work the morning after.

This revolutionary technology has transformed the eye care industry, and is now allowing many to read without glasses. Not everyone is a good candidate for Conductive Keratoplasty (CK), and the best way to find out is to be screened by someone with experience in the field.

Dr. Kurwa, Medical Director of the Kurwa Eye Center has been performing corrective procedures for glasses for the past 25 years. He has performed thousands of procedures such as Laser Vision Correction, Lasik, PRK, CK and many other related procedures. With CK reading vision correction, he has now taking his skills to a new level.
